New York in layers is a series of drawings made in November 2024 during a few days in NY. The style is inspired by Stuart Davis, my favorite American painter.

Aerial views from a tidal lagoon on Iceland’s south coast, where glacial meltwater and seawater converge in layered flows of color and texture. The images reveal delicate sand structures and abstract patterns shaped by sediment, light, and the constant motion of the tide.
