A selection of personal illustrations inspired by stories of distant neon galaxies, damp forests brewing with life, a burning planet sweating like flowers in a heating atmosphere and a royal bird. Made with a touch of magic and a bunch of custom made brushes.

Press, cover books, magazines, editorial and advertising illustrations all made in Procreate.

“SWAMPLANDS” is an aerial photography series by visual artist and fine art photographer Jan Erik Waider. The images showcase swamplands in Alaska with their evolving channels, tranquil pools, and vibrant moss, shaped by seasonal flooding and sediment buildup within a dynamic wilderness landscape.
